Part 1
The Eye
Chapter 1
I woke up in the sweating,hot sun draining me from all hydration with the bugs eating away at me. I opened my eyes. I must have survived the night. Still tired from the last night fight, I force myself up.
I look around. There's no sign of life anywhere. I check in my food for food and supplies. Two blue berries, and the foot from Clawblood. I guess I could make a knife out of the claw but I have to save the berries. I put them in my bag.
I notice a round object behind the rock. I crawl over to it and pick it up. A dark blue round velociraptor eyeball. I stare into it and it seems as if it is alive. This eye has seen my whole past....but the begin of my unlucky events started only five days ago...or was it a week? It's hard to keep track of the days. Though I remember the story perfect.
Like most tragedies start, I'm in the Mt. Snowdania War.
Chapter 2
"Time to get up, ladies!" The commander comes in and wakes everyone. Everyone gets dressed in light blue armor to stand for ice. Without ice we would all die of thirst.
When everyone is ready, we get into our attack formation:a giant square. As usual I go to right side bottom corner; the most dangerous side. I could either get attacked by a wild animal, get sniped from the mountain, avalanche comes, or get attacked from behind.
The general gets in front of everyone and tells us our mission, " Okay, First we head down to the Frozinia Team. Next we will camp at Ice River for one hour. That's when most of you will head to battle. Red,Purple, and Blue team, you need to head to rocky peak to gain their trust. Gold and Silver team, you need to get to Mt. Snowdania to protect it. Yellow team, you will be our bait."
Chapter 3
I wanted to scream out, " No way!" but I knew either way I was going to die. I was on the Yellow team, and bait in war always means suicide.
Plus there are only five men in the Yellow team. I don't even stand a chance.
We started walking when we heard the roar of an ambush. The whole army immediately turned around. We saw the ambush, but but not for long. Five seconds later they were all dead. We just stood there wondering what just happened. Then, we heard one of the scientist yell, "Run! It's the Glaciators!"
Only scientist know what Glaciators are, what they look like, and a lot of other things. Everybody else knows one thing about them:Run away.
It took about a half second to register what the scientist said. Then, everyone was running off the cliff. People were even killing other men to get ahead of him.
I kept on telling myself, "It's okay...You're safe," if I had only remembered I was in the back of the army I wouldn't have been in the desert right now.
When it was my turn to jump off the cliff, I was terrified. The cliff was about 90 miles high! I am still surprised how people survived! I turned around to find another way down but it was too late. The glaciator found me.
Chapter 4
It lifted me into the air by my leg. I hung upside-down and stared at it's body. It was like one of the extinct creatures called a gorilla, but it was entirely made out of ice cubes. His eyes were crescent shaped and red. His legs were small and skinny, about the size of another extinct animal: the sloth. Buy his arms were the size of evergreens. He had sharp icicles coming out of his shoulders and one at the top of his head.
He stood on his hind legs and started sacking me with his other arm. I look behind him and saw a much much bigger one. The one attacking me now was just a baby.
The baby just suddenly threw me in the air and he caught me. The baby's stomah suddenly growled. This was the end for me.
The baby started to drop me into his mouth when I saw a human on the back of the mom.
I suddenly screamed out, " Expost pertusious!" The mouth closed on me.
Chapter 5
I woke up in the freezing, cold moon gaining hyperthermia and snow falling on me. I opened my eyes and saw signs of life everywhere. Houses made into caves, piles of food, cut down trees to make a giant fort, I turned my head and saw a huge group of Glaciators all speaking their language.
I looked around in the cave I was in. At first I thought it was one of the Glaciators, but I saw how much it looked like a human house. I was laying on a bed with my armor off and a bandage around my arm. I got off the bed and started walking when I heard a voice behind me.
"Up already? It's only 4!"
I looked around and saw another human smiling at me. I instintaly knew who it was.
"Scar! I thought you were dead!" I went up and hugged him.
"I see you have been busy also little brother!" He hugged me back.
"Scar, why are you with the Glaciators?"
"Where else would I live? I'm banned from everywhere else. Here they can't throw me into the arena."
"But, how did you make friends with them?"
"Well. They're actually very nice. Loud noises or any weapons and armor are the only things thy scare them. Once they're scared they attack."
"How did you find them?"
"While in the wild, I learned how to speak animal languages from hearing them. I was walking through the mountains when I stinker across one. It just stated at me and i said 'hi' in Glaciator language."
"He responded with 'You are one of the hunters...' then he stared at my knife. I took out the knife and he got ready to attack but I hurried and threw it into a bush."
"I said 'I am not one of them. I am lost. I am being searched by the hunters.' He told me to follow him and he took me here. They agreed to protect me from the Capturers if I teach them English and geography."
"So am I allowed to stay?"
"They said you could for a while, but you have to get going when we get to Mossyruins."
"M-M-Mossyruins! From here?! We will have to cross Black Carnival! Even the Capturers and scared of the Glaciators!"
"That's the other thing...The Flame Team is taking you."
Chapter 6
Scar was greeting me to the Glaciators that would escort me to the Flame Team. One, as big as an average house, was named Snowralia. Another, the size of a wagon, was Mantanice. Last was one the size of a tree. Scar and I couldn't pronounce his name so we called him Icerazor.
As we were walking through the woods I started to get hungry. I went over to Snowralia and asked, "Do you guys ever get hungry?"
She answered, "Oh, why yes! We are mainly herbivores, but occasionally eat meat."
"Well, our information says you only eat meat."
"No! Only raptors are pure Carnivore! Some carnivores eat a little grass or weeds, but raptors don't."
"You saying raptors are bad?"
"No! No no no! They just have a bad reputation. I'm sure that they're actually very friendly."
"Hmm..."
We continued to walk when suddenly we saw a destroyed area. All the trees and snow were melted. Weapons and armor covered the ground. Light blue colored armor.
"My team.."
Icerazor sniffed at one of the burnt trees.
"It electric. Electric bad. We run before come."
Apparently he didn't speak English well.
Chapter 7
I heard something in a bush behind so I turned around. Must've been a bird. Can't see anything. When I look back I the disaster there were 5 boys, all with red hair that sticks up and black clothes and sunglasses.
"Wha?"
"So which of these three are to scared to go to Black Carnival?" asked the middle one.
"This one needs the escort," answered Icerazor.
"Coolio," said the same one.
Suddenly two of them came and picked me up. They started carrying me away. If Scar was cool with this so was I.
"Bye guys..." That was all I could say before they were out if sight.
Finally about two hours later the apparent leader said, "Okay. Sleep time." Two of them made little beds to sleep on. The two holding gathered fire wood. The leader stayed with me.
"So, let me introduce everyone. The big one cutting down the wood is Lava. The little next to him is Candle. The two making the beds are Torch and Molten; they're twins, no one can tell them apart. And I am Flare. Great to meet ya Blake."
"Ya..."
Flare just stared at me for a while and asked, " You don't talk much, do you?"
"I was taught my whole life to remain silent so the Capturers don't find me."
"Silent? You don't need to be silent if you're strong enough! Right guys!?"
"Of course!" answered everyone.
"Strong? What can you do? You don't have any weapons!"
"Ha! You haven't ever been to Crystal Cove have you kid!" Flare walked away.
Chapter 8
Everyone fell asleep except me. I stared into the fire thinking of all that's happened. It was a crazy day! Suddenly, Flare came and sat next to me.
"Hey kid...You been thinking about the war?"
"Kinda.....I was thinking how every team is against eachother...Vatalax against Frozinia....You guys against the Volt Shockers...Is there any team that wants peace?"
It's true World War III destroyed seven huge areas. We're in a huge Cival War, but if it keeps up we could call this World War IV.
"Can you keep a secret? There is a team called Shadow Seekers. They are a secret group of teenagers about my age. Their plan is to destroy Black Valley. Once then, the island should be peaceful again. But I dont believe in that prophecy."
"Prophecy? What Prophecy?"
"Here."
Flare dug into his bag and unrolled a peice of paper. He handed it to me. It read:
The Prophecy of Light
The Hero shall get lost
Then all shall become dark
Everything will have a cost
Just don't go by the mark
The Hero shall meet a guide
He shall be by his side
They will fight,they will cry
But together they won't die
The Seekers will Seek, but won't find
The dark will take over, all light will cease
The Seekers will lose their bind
The Hero wont be at ease
The Hero shall meet a guide
He shall be by his side
They will fight,they will cry
But together they won't die
The Hero will find the gem
The guide will save all
The Seekers will be with them
They will never fall
The island will be one
The Hero shall meet a guide

Some will perish,then they cry

Chapter 9
"Wait, so what does this prophecy mean?"
"Well, no one really knows. I think it's about some hero will get lost and confused and won't know what to do. Then the evil will take over. Then the hero will meet some kind of guide to explain everything to him and keep him on track. Then the Shadow Seekers give up trying to win the war and the Vatalax destroys them all. It will be up to the hero to stop him."
"Then the hero will find some kind of gem to destroy the Vatalax. The guide will save the Shadow Seekers. Then they will team up to win the battle. Once the battle is won the island will be in peace again. But there will have to be many sacrifices for that."
"Wow...Does anyone know who the Hero and Guide are?"
"Well, actually people in the city are saying you are the guide."
"What! Me?! No way!"
"Here lets play a game. I'll tell you a team and you say friend or foe."
"Fine..."
"Vatalax."
"Foe."
"Scorpios."
"Foe."
"Glaciators?"
"Friend."
"Hmm...lets get harder. Volt Shockers."
"Neither. They just don't want to be bothered."
"Yes....Raptors?"
"Hmm..." I started thinking about what Snowralia said to me. "Friend..."
"Shadow Seekers...."
I instinctively answered with, "Foe."
Chapter 10
When I woke, Torch and Lava were carrying me again. I looked where we were heading and I say city of ruins. "Mossyruins! We're already here!?"
"You're smart kid. You know what cities. Congrats," said Flare.
We headed into a huge castle halfway buried underground. I asked, "Where we heading?"
Flare answered with, "Sorry kid, we can't have the guide messing our plans. Have fun in the arena."
"Wait, WHAT!?"
Suddenly, two guards came and tied my hands around my back. They brought me to a group of other people who got captured.
We stood in the group for about five minutes, then the gates opened. Inside was a huge desert. The guards blindfolded us so we wouldn't know where the walls were. They then tied us each to a different pole.
The king of Black Valley spoke, "Welcome rulebreakers! Have fun trying to fight off the animals while tied up and blindfolded. This will last about two minutes at the most so let's start! And the Desert Arena...BEGINS!"
Part 2
The Arena
Chapter 11
The cannon shot and instantly gates opened. Inside we could hear different kinds of animals. Leafgers, Giant Scorpions, Giant Rattlesnakes, a Snow Tiger, and the animal everyone knew, raptors.
I wrapped my legs around the pole and started inching my up. It didn't go too well because a leafger jumped up and scratched my knee. I started kicking down at him with my foot. Instead of hurting the leafger, a raptor jumped on my side.
"Ahh!" I screamed out. The raptor bit through the rope and we both fell. I landed on top of him but the raptor was too confused so he just kept on biting the air.
I shoved my rope around my hands into his mouth. Then I untied my blindfold. The sides got scratched but atleast I was free!
I started making the raptor run straight towards a cliff. As soon as he was about to hit the cliff I jumped off. He slammed into it and crushed his head.
The leafger got mad I escaped and started chasing after me. I started climbing the cliff. Once the leafger got here, I was at the top.
I picked up a big stone and threw it at his head. It was stronge enough to knock him out, but that was all I needed. I hurried and grabbed the grass of his body and the leaves and flowers at the end of his tail. I stuffed them into my pocket.
I started climbing a mountain but two raptors were following me. A red and black one, and a grey one with super sharp claws. I grabbed a heavy stone off the ground and tied it to my rope. I swung it around my head getting it faster. Once it was fast enough, I threw it in front of me. It hit the grey one and then flew into the red and black one. They both fell to the ground.
I grabbed the claw off of the red one, and cut the foot off the grey one, I stuffed it into my pocket.
I got to a cliff to hide at but I was trapped. At the cliff were three raptors closing in on me. Once I was corned, two raptors appeared on my right. Then on my left side was a black raptor with feathers with red on the ends of them. A young blue raptor was next to him.
I grabbed my claw and dug it into the sand. The cliff broke into clutters of dirt. It was a short fall, but it hit the weak side of the mountain. Hit it hard enough to cause an avalanche.
Chapter 12
At first, it sounded like loud thunder. Then, it was like the mountain went on vibrate mode. Next, rocks started falling and it felt like an earthquake; the raptors started running down. Finally, the ground beneath me just fell.
It was like a giant river made out of sand and boulders. If you were by the rocks, you would get crushed. If you were in the sand, you would get burried.
I was trying to dig myself out of the sand. I held onto a rock and decided I was going to die. A noticed a flat long rock gliding across the sand. The rock went straight, and broke when it hit a rock.
That gave me an idea. I found another flat rock, the laid down on it. I started pushing myself with my hands, and the I just started gliding across the sand.
I turned around and a rock was coming straight at me. As it was about to hit me, I hurried and jumped. I landed on the top of the rock and rolled off. I landed, standing, on the rock.
It was hard to keep balance, but I managed. I was just starting to get the hang of it when my rock crashed into another rock. I flew off and landed in the sand.
It was hard to breathe and there was sand in my lungs. I started choking and closed my eyes.
Chapter 13
Visions of Kay wove in and out of my nightmares. Where was she? Was she okay? I left her in the hands of Noticova tribe. They have always been good friends of mine, they wouldn't let her get hurt. Unless the Capturers got her...
Kay was Scar's and my little sister. She was only 6. I have to get out of the arena to save her....
"Attention men! Wake up!" The voice of the king woke me up. "Congrats! You four have made the record for longest amount of time! 7 hours! Also, Congrats for killing most of the animals! Just four packs left! That makes thirteen creatures in here! Good luck! You'll all need it..."
I'm not the last one alive? And more then just the Raptors survived? Maybe I could make an alliance with one...
I looked around and saw I was in the rubble from the avalanche. Maybe the Raptors died after all? I looked behind me and saw another man crushed from a rock. A backpack was by it. I tried to stand and get it but my leg collapsed under me. It must be broken.
"Want me to get it for you?" I looked up on a ledge and saw a girl about the same age as me. She had black hair that went down to her shoulders, and was wearing brown shirt and pants. I opened my mouth to speak, but she spoke first.
"My name is Talia. You can call me Sam though. Your name is Blake, and you just want to keep your sister safe. And yes, there are three raptors alive."
"Ho-" I tried to ask.
"How do I know so much? That's because I can use telepathy. Wanna know why? Because I'm a Shadow Seeker."
Chapter 14
"A Sh-Shadow Seeker!?"
"That's right. I can help you get out of here too. But first, you gotta have a power. You smell of smoke...Have you been around the Flame Team?"
"Well, yeah...And I don't have a power! Superheros aren't real!"
"Ha! Every member of the 5-Pointed Star has a power! Mine happens to be telepathy!"
"What is the 5-Pointed Star?"
"Vatalax, Shadow Seekers, Scorpios, Flame Team, and Volt Shockers, but the Volt Shockers are in question. Time to rain you for your power."
"Power?! I don't have a power!"
"Then explain why you survived the avalanche?"
Chapter 15
"It was just....just luck!"
"Ya, whatever." My leg and her started glowing. My leg suddenly felt better and she disappeared.
I got up and grabbed the backpack. I slid the raptor foot in there.
It was night and I was walking in the desert. Off in the distance I heard some noise. I sneaked over there and saw a pack of raptors all talking around a fire.
The one covered with feathers got up and spoke, " It is a shame that we lost the life of Clawblood, one of the greatest warriors, and the other raptors.....My son, Bloodrop, has also lost the ability to see on his right side....But that doesn't mean we can't brake out of here! We're already alliances with all the teams except the tiger and the humans! Now, Me, Bloodrop, and Bloodscar will find the humans. Bloodbreath and Scratchblood will find the tiger."
"Yes, Bloodbite sir" all four raptors yelled.
"Good, now let's get moving! And by the way, we know you're here, Blake, or should I say, Blake the Fire Hero?"
Chapter 16
Two raptors came up and took me over to Bloodbite.
Bloodbite said,"Well well well... Look who we have here. We need to talk."
"Why would I talk to you! You're a raptor!" I yelled.
"It involves your sister." Bloodbite handed me a letter. The letter was to the King. It read:
I've got Kay. Bring me the gem and then we'll talk. Blake, Teagan, Zac, Addison, Bloodbite, Bloodrop, and the Snow Tiger are in the arena. If we keep them in there we're safe. They're getting closer to the mark, keep on forcing them there.

"The prophecy, "Don't go by the mark"...."
"Yes. Us raptors have a map of the arena. So far everyone is heading to the middle because of 'natural disasters'"
"So you're saying the middle is this so called mark?"
"Yes, I've studied the arena and they don't usually blindfold them, they just make them sleep. They knew we are part of the prophecy so we can use dream reality."
"Dream reality? And who are the other people in the note?"
"Have you ever done something in your dream and it becomes real? And during your dream it was as if you were watching yourself?"
"Ya..."
"Well, that wasn't a dream. Your dream self got out of your mind and you controlled yourself by your mood, kinda. It's hard to explain."
"So, if I shot fire out of my hands and caught the forest on fire, would that be angry?"
"For you? No. For mainly everyone else? Yes."
"What do you mean for me?"
"You have the power of fire."
Instantly, Bloodbite jumped on me and bit dug his claws into my shoulder. I tried to push him off, but another raptor threw pills into my mouth. I fell asleep, in a snap.
Chapter 17
I saw myself wake up, it must be the dream reality. It was the middle of the night. My real self caught his hands on fire. He started throwing fire at the other raptors. They all screeched in pain. When I got to the little one, I picked him up by the throat and stabbed him in the stomach. He started crying in pain. My real self laughed and caught his head off.
"You don't trust us, do you?"
My dream self turned around and saw Bloodbite. I said, "Looks like it. Why was I more evil at the younger one?"
"Because you are confused. You imagine that the raptors are your family. The king is killing all of you and torturing Kay. You want her to protect her but you can't because you are in the arena. You got angry so you taught yourself the power of fire. You can only use it when your asleep though."
"Yes....So how do we escape?"
"We are escaping right now. You and me are asleep, remember? Wake up!"
Part 3
The Rescue
Chapter 18
I awoke and I was inside a wagon. I got up and saw Bloodbite waking. He beckoned me to follow and he jumped out.
I, still groggy from sleeping, forced myself out. Outside, there were the raptors and a group of humans. There are also scorpions, rattlesnakes, and camals. The scorpions are as big as a closet and as tall as a nightstand, they can also shoot poison out of their tail. The rattlesnakes are as big as the extinct animal, boa constrictor. The camals have trunks.
I can't see Bloodbite anywhere. I start searching for him when a kid about the same age as me comes to talk to me.
"You looking for someone?" he asks.
"Do you know Bloodbite?" I ask him.
"Ya, he just left the group a minute ago. I'm Teagan, nice to meet you."
I shake his hand and say, "Blake. Are you part of the Shadow Seekers?"
"All of us are! I've never seen you though. What is your job?"
"Well, I was in the army but I got lost and ended up here. The Flame Team tricked me to come here."
"Of course, they tricked everyone here. Sam was the only one forced here though."
"Sam? You mean Talia? Is she here?"
"So you know her? Well, she's sleeping now."
"Oh..."
"You should get some sleep too. We're coming back here to camp so you can just stay here if you want. Hey, you could spend time with Bloodbite's son, Bloodrop!"
Chapter 19
Bloodrop and I started setting up camp. I sat up the tents and he started the fire and made food. Roasted scorpions, yum.
While we were eating, Bloodrop just stared at the fire while I stared at him. He looked sad, like the fire did something to him. Both of his sad eyes were fixed on the flames....Wait, he only had one eye.
"What happened to your other eye?" I asked to break the silence.
He looked up at me. He slowly pointed at his claw on his foot. Then he pointed at me. I knew what he meant automatically.
Back at the mountain, I stabbed a raptor around the eye and it fell out. I harmed a helpless young raptor.
"I have been watching..." He said.
"Excuse me?"
"Our pack...we were.....help..." He fell to the ground. I rushed over. As soon as I was about to pick him up, I saw a poison dart frog on him.
Chapter 20
I backed away. I looked around and the frogs were everywhere. They were hopping everywhere. One little touch and I would end up like Bloodrop.
"He can be saved....But you will have to sacrifice yourself."
I look upon a rock and laying there was the Snow Tiger. He is a white tiger that can do cause any kind of calamity and catastrophe.
"You sent these frogs here....Why?"
"I made a deal with Bloodrop. I would kill you if he never talked about the war at all."
"Why couldn't he talk about the war?"
"He knows to much. He wanted me to kill you because Bloodbite doesn't appreciate him at all. If I made it look like he killed you, Bloodbite would love him again. Poor little Bloodrop, laying there dying. It's a shame to see him go. I'll have to take him out of his misery. Looks like I'll have to kill you and Bloodrop myself."
The Snow Tiger jumped on my chest and I fell down into the fire. The flames and ashes engulfed me. The last thing I heard before I died was laughter and....Teagan and....Bloodbite? They yell.....Use your powers!
Chapter 21
My powers.....I couldn't let Bloodrop die....Instantly my skin became flames. Energy rushed through me. I stood up and stuck my hand out to Snow Tiger.
"What! I thought you couldn't use your powers!" yelled the Snow Tiger.
A fireball shot out of my hand and headed towards Snow Tiger. He breathed mist out of his mouth and froze the fireball. His claws and teeth turned into ice. The weather suddenly turned into a blizzard.
I kept on throwing fireballs, but he wouldn't stop freezing them and shooting them back. Finally, I ran up to him and punched him in the neck. He caught fire and yelled, "Get him!"
The poison frogs tried to hop onto me, but I hit most of them with fire. For every one I hit, ten more would take its place. There was to many of them.
Right about when about thirty was about to get me, they all got shocked. I turned around and saw Teagan helping using electricity. I saw Bloodred scratching them, heading towards Bloodrop.
"Blake! Are you okay?" yelled Teagan.
"Ya, you?" I ask
"Just fine. I know how we're going to get out!"
"Oh, really? Behind you!"
Teagan shocked the Snow Tiger. "Ya, the king announced that we can all wish for one thing as long as it won't get us out."
"So, how we gonna get out if we can't wish for anything that will let us escape?"
"Everyone will wish for a different thing; together, the items will get us out."
The Snow Tiger jumped up behind me and landed on my back and scratched me. "Ahhhh!" I yelled. Bloodbite, holding bloodrop in is mouth, knocked snow tiger off causing me to fall down a hill.
I heard Teagan yell, "We'll come and get you! Just rest for now, we will protect you!" I trusted Teagan so I found a little crevice in the mountain and sat down and waited.
Chapter 22
Two hours have passed and they're still not done fighting. Or are they? I listen around and I only hear wind. I hope they won, but if they didn't, Snow Tiger will be looking for me. I head into the warmer, shady part of the crack.
As I scoot back, I see a note. I pick it up and it reads:
Dear Blake,
It's me, Bloodrop. I'm alright so no need to worry. All you have to do is stay around that mountain, sleep, and wish for whatever you want. One more thing, the thing I was trying to tell you earlier is that us raptors have been watching since the Glaciators found you. We will come and get you, don't worry.
Your Partner, Bloodrop
So, they have been following me. Well, they know what I went threw then, And wish for whatever I want? I'll have to sleep on that.
I lay down in the sand and cover myself up with some to stay warm. I use my bag as a pillow. I slowly start to drift off.
My dreams are filled with Kay once again. My poor little sister. All alone. The Capturers probably have her. Torturing her. Treating her like and animal....I know what to wish for.
Part 4
The Escape
Chapter 23
I stare into Bloodrop's eye. So, now you know how I got here. And you're probably predicting what will happen. Let me tell you one thing, you're wrong.
I get up and stretch. The Seekers should be here anytime.... I hear a pebble move behind me. That must be them!
I head towards the noise and climb a rock. I look around and don't see anything, but I do feel something on my hand. I look down and see a baby scorpion on me. I push him off and see two more babies.
"What are you guys doing here?" I ask. I must've gone crazy. I'm talking to baby scorpions. "You should be with...your mom...." I hear something heading towards me slowly. "Oh, you are....."
A shadow engulfs me. I look behind me and I see a 8 foot tall, 3 feet wide, and 7 feet long scorpion.
"Hi, Mrs. Scorpion..."
Chapter 24
I slowly back away from her. Bad idea. I step on one of the baby scorpions and it squeals. The scorpion mom taunts me and snaps her claws.
She slowly corners me. I try to make a fireball but I can't. She leans towards me, ready to strike with her tail.
I can't die here. Someone has to save Kay. My hand catches on fire and I punch her in the eye. She squeals and her face catches fire.
I crawl under her legs burning her legs as I go. Finally she is totally burnt.
As I watch her burn and hear her screams I think of 4 years ago. I was 8 and Kay was 2. Someone came to kill us but our mom destroyed him with ice. She even killed herself trying to protect us. I would kill myself to kill Kay too.
I look at the baby scorpions and they are scared, huddling together; just like me and Kay did. This scorpion is just trying to protect her kids.
I snap my fingers the the fire disappears. She lays there heavily burnt, breathing hard. The baby scorpions run to her. I run away.
Chapter 25
I've made it to the otherside of the mountain. I couldn't bare watching that mother die.
I hear the king's voice speak, "Congrats to who is still alive! I will each grant you one wish. It can't be able to let you escape and you have 10 seconds to say it aloud."
I was about to say, "Kay to be with me and her to be safe," but I knew I had to wish for something else.
"I wish for that mother scorpion and her babies to stay safe and healthy."
"Ten seconds are up," says the king, "Now, continue fighting."
A big boom happens and the entire mountain starts crumbling into a quicksand waterfall.
I start falling down thinking I'm about to die when some kind a boat grabs me.
"Hey, Blake!"
"Teagan?!"
"That's right! Like my jet ski? It's from the past."
"Ya! It's awesome!"
I need you to get in the back. The jet ski can handle only so much weight."
I look behind us and there's a robe attached to a raft like thing. I think it's called a tube.
Sitting on the tube is Bloodbite and Kay.
Chapter 26
Teagan slows down so I can get in the back. I hope in and Kay says, "Blake! I haven't seen you forever!" I say, "Yep, it's good to see you too!"
Teagan starts driving again, it actually feels fun! I haven't had fun forever.
About five minutes later, three more jet skis and tubes come. The quicksand started gaining waves which made it more fun!
Soon we started gaining speed and bouncing high. Kay got scared and sat on my lap. The commotion started to cause us to sink.
I leaned back and Bloodbite leaned back too. Luckily, we were safe.
After about two minutes, we started to sink again. We got safe once again.
After about one minute, we started to sink again! We leaned back but we were too late. The tube flipped over and knocked me, bloodbite and k.....Where is Kay?!
I look around, trying to stay afloat, and I can't see her. That's when I hear her go underwater. The sound came from under the tube.
I dive down, trying to find her, but for some reason I can only stay under for three seconds. I try to stay under for four seconds but it burns.
I look at Bloodbite and I can tell by his look that he knows why. He dives under and two minutes later brings back Kay.
"Thank you!" I yell and hug Bloodbite
"It was nothin," he says. I could tell from his voice he doesn't get much thank yous.
Chapter 27
We all get on the jet ski and drive the rest of the way down. At the end is the arena wall. I can see everybody in the stadium! All sorts of creatures yelling at us, throwing things at us. We just ignore them. I make sure Kay can't hear or see them.
Bloodbite comes over to me and says, "Use your dream reality." He hands me a pill. The same pill before. I eat it and I fall asleep.
I dream that the king has found the glaciators and Scar. He is destroying them. Two guards come to get me. I blast fire at them and jump onto a glaciator. I form a fireball in my hands and tell the glaciator to freeze it.
He does and I throw it at the king. He calls the mother scorpion and her babies. She shows up but with only two of her kids.
The mom starts attacking the glaciator's mountain. I start shooting fire at her but she dodges all of them.
Finally, I shoot a lazer of fire at her. She jumps out of the way and I create a cave in the mountain. I stop and the scorpion and glaciators run into it. Me and my glaciator go in too.
Chapter 28
The cave ends with a lava river. Everyone starts hoping on floating rocks so I do the same. I see the scorpion so I start shooting at her.
The glaciator I'm riding starts slapping me. I wake up and I'm riding on Bloodbite. I look around I know what my dream was about.
The Shadow Seekers were the glaciators and I was riding bloodbite. The mountain was the arena wall. The scorpion was really her and her babies. The lava river was an ocean and the rocks are ice.
"You okay?" asks Bloodbite.
"Just fine," I answer
After about five minutes, I ask, "Where is the Scorpion's other baby?"
"Dead. She became a Shadow Seeker so someone killed her baby as a warning," answers Bloodbite.
It's all my fault I think. If only I left her alone. Is something glowing over?
"Whats that glowing, purple thing?"
"Moon stone. It will take us back to our base."
Chapter 29
We all jump off of the ice and land on a little rock island.
All the Shadow Seekers start talking in a different language. A portal opens and we go inside.
On the other side looks like an underground base. There is a big meeting table, a cafeteria, and bedrooms. A whole bunch of other seekers are sitting at a table and shout, "THEY'RE BACK!!!"
We all smile and take a seat. We have a feast. I help Kay with her food. I look around and everyone is telling stories about their troubles.
Teagan's sister died. Ten raptors died. We lost Bloodrop. Snow Tiger escaped. Sam......Bloodrop!
"Bloodrops mising?!" I yell.
"Yes Blake. You guys can go back to eating," says Bloodbite. "Blake, we traded him for Kay."
"You didn't have to do that!"
"You don't understand. But I want to ask you a question. Would you like to be adopted by me?"
I smile and say, "YES!"
Chapter 30
"T, I need you to hide that journal."
"But, why?"
"We can't let Teagan and Blake get it."
"Yes, my lord."
